Escapade: A 2002 Catana 471 sailing catamaran in Hiroshima, Japan.
I am looking to move Escapade south to Subic Bay, Philippines likely via Hong Kong before May 1. This would be about a one month commitment starting as soon as possible. Longer term schedule to Thailand remains flexible and I would entertain discussions for a longer term role.
We have a blog here:
Have a look at my CV. You will see that I am a nuclear physicist/engineer, did my time as an engineer officer on a nuclear submarine (Ballast Point, San Diego) and have had a varied career around the world.
Allyson and I have been cruising the Pacific since leaving Houston, Texas in 1993, first on our Whitby 42, Indigo, a 42 foot ketch and now on our 2002 Catana 471 Escapade. Escapade is currently moored at Kannon-Marina in Hiroshima, Japan. The typhoon season starts here in May and I am looking to move Escapade south via Hong Kong, Subic Bay (Philippines), Kota Kinabalu, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.
Allyson and I normally sail alone, just the two of us. Allyson is currently working in Brisbane, Australia, and is not available to make this trip in the required time frame.
Please let me know if you are interested and available then we can discuss further.
