sail my boat from Brittany (France) to Denmark

Crew wanted: Captain/skipper
Vessel: Sailing Boat
Size:13 m
Location: France
Destination: Denmark
Logged in: 3 minutes ago

Maxtor: Bought a used boat in Brittany-France, need it to be sailed home to Denmark. I know nada about sailing with sails.... yet :), I have only been owning/handling small motorboats up to 3000kg for the last 20 years.

reason for buying the boat is an old dream about sailing the world with my family when I have proper knowledge.

I will pay for the return ticket and all expenses regarding drinks and food for the Captain and negoatiable passage payment.

For the crew the terms are that I will provide for foods/drinks/bunks the rest we can negotiate.

I will be arms and legs while learning + I have excellent cooking skills....

Captain has to be patient and geared for passing on sailing knowledge.

Boat has autopilot, GPS chartplotter, eccosounder. Boat has in mast furling, and furling genoa. Brand new liferaft 2016 and rig from 2017.

Captain and crew will be 3 - 5 persons. The trip is 1000nm

kind regards

Max

From London to Spain / Portugal

Crew wanted: Amateur crew
Vessel: Sailing Boat

nt57: Hello good people!

Sometime in July or early August I'll take my yacht from London, head along the UK south coast, hop across the Channel, and then either straight across the Bay of Biscay, or take a slower route following the French and Spanish coasts (depending on time mostly, but probably I'll go straight across Biscay).

My aim is to get to Portugal later this year, probably hang around there for a while with some trips to Gibraltar, Spain etc, and then next year... Well, see what happens.

I've lived and worked in many different countries as a scuba instructor, and my plan is to keep that life style going. I love exploring new places, meeting all sorts of people, and just seeing what's out there. I now work remotely, so I can sail pretty much freely.

I'm looking for crew with a similar mindset: adventurous, fun, and interested in seeing the world. Your sailing experience is less important than your willingness to learn, get involved in the tasks onboard, and get your hands dirty.

We'll share any costs onboard - food, moorings, fuel etc., although I plan to keep things as cheap as possible!

So send over a message if you'd like to join me on any or all of the trip.

Sailing the Peloponnese coast,Saronics & Cyclades from June-October 2017...

twizzr: There is space available for a single or couple from June 4-18th.....

Sailing the Peloponnese coast, Saronic & Cyclades from May- October 2017...Come sailing the Peloponnese, Saronic and Cyclades with a chance of the Dodecanese. On a comfortable fast OLDER style yacht that I have owned for 25 years. The boat can sleep up to nine with two heads/showers.four cabins. I am based in Greece, with easy access from Airport and Piraeus on a ferry or flying dolphin.
So far we have crew from Austria, Austrailia, England, Holand, New Zealand and Wales coming sailing ( not all at the same time ;-) )
.
Now that my wife and children no longer want to sail as much. I find myself with weeks free and was thinking of having 1-2 or 3 people to join me for, one, two or three weeks at a time, or longer if compatible? But no more than 4 crew at any time. Single persons welcome but no romance wanted
.
Please note. I do not need crew to deliver the yacht to another place, as I have single handed sailed for years The yacht has been set up by me for single hand sailing,( that some will find DIFFERENT)
This is more an opportunity for people to have an enjoyable holiday at the same time as sailing and get more miles and experience at a fraction of the cost of chartering their own yacht.

Contributions 30 euro pp PD. 200 euro a week max For a single person in double cabin................... 25euro pp PD sharing with Partner, friend /boyfriend, not a stranger.... lol.

There is a small cabin with wardrobe and up and down bunk for budget sailing '20euro pp PD + expenses.. See Photos.

There would be an additional expense for onboard meals and diesel, port fees, laundry cleaning products, consumables etc: of around 5-10 euro pp PD
... .........................................................
This will NOT include shore-based meals and drinks which are paid for by the person eating/drinking them.............. ( I have been known to steal some chips and buy a litre of wine )

As Skipper would be in charge of the day to day running of the yacht, however, I would like all crew to have as much fun as possible whilst aboard. Managing day to day running of a yacht, provisioning, passage planning, weather forecasting, anchoring. stern to mooring, keeping the ship tidy, this would be a large part of this trip, rather than just sunbathe.lol.
A golden opportunity to enjoy sailing the Aegean in a relaxing manner, combined with sightseeing the islands .....

Friends /crew
That would like sailing and have fun at the same time as making new friends, visiting new places. on an adventure aboard a sailing yacht around the Greek islands.Any age/sex 30 +, MUST BE FINANCALY SOUND and NON-SMOKER............ NOT looking for any ROMANCE OR FREELOADERs..!

Most days on the water we will sail between 20-60 miles and at the same time having a bit of fun fishing, snorkelling, swimming, dolphin and whale spotting (Seen Two in 20 years, so don't hold your breath) and only drinking alcohol when tied up safe in port. (a very cold beer with lunch) otherwise a dry ship at sea, with ZERO tolerance for drugs.

Note. As Skipper, I will try and accommodate all ideas and suggestions, but my word shall be final. ..Santorini at the height of the Meltemi will be low on the list of priorities.unless using the ferry from Naxos or Ios.

Please remember this is not a HIRE, CHARTER or SCHOOL boat, you will be my internet friends on board, as I would like good company when sailing.

I shall advise you to have your own Travel/accident insurance for the duration of your time in Greece/Turkey The yacht is insured.however this request is for your personal safety for your time on board and when away from the yacht. THIS IS IMPORTANT !!!! .......................................................................................................................................
By you responding to this opportunity, I will understand you accept these terms.

I haven't, hidden anything? Please remember a new set of sails for this boat cost 15,000 euro+ New last year, there a new dinghy for this year's crew @1000 euro, Liferaft, 6 automatic life jackets at 100 euro each.
So contributions are mostly put back into the boat. Next year if you come back it will be even better

ps sometimes I have a small friendly dog on board,

Cheers bob

Crew needed for Summer 2017 in Greece

Crew wanted: Amateur crew
Vessel: Sailing Boat

trisailor: I am a Yachtmaster Coastal qualified skipper with Commercial Endorsement plus the usual certificates (First Aid, Sea Survival, VHF Operator, ISAF Offshore). Over 10,000 miles experience including two passages over 1,000 miles each (Cowes - Lisbon and Azores - Plymouth), over a dozen cross-channel passages (many at night, mostly as skipper).

I am currently selling my Dragonfly920 so not planning any further sailing trips on her, but I have a share in a GibSea 352 in Greece and am looking for crew for two weeks in the Ionian 25 June - 9 July. I have booked my flights to Preveza and we will pick up the boat from there. I have one experienced person coming with me but still looking for one or two additional people. Experience not essential as this will be a relaxed sailing holiday not a mad marathon, with plenty of time to visit the different islands and spend some time ashore.

Classicsailor: Hi everybody
Easy going openminded sailor a bit shy looking for company on a dream trip
very safety consious but not a planner so no set ports or destinations but sail where the wind gets me, satnav wil be used along side clasic navigation
Wish list is south America exploring the amazon river for a time, go around cape horn to the pacific if possible.
Looking to travel without a carbon footprint, no engine use if possible, and running on vegetable oil if available.
Looking to get a stress free life sailing and meeting new people and cultures, looking for the unexpected.

For now finding the rhythm of the ocean, getting lost under a starry sky, lead by the wind, waves and stars to my unknown destination, I've had enough of the so called civilised world with in happy people, this civilization I do not need
My yacht is a 50. Year old wooden sloop not luxurious but one off the best long dinstance sailing vessels i know equiped for single handed sailing. The perfect crew is a spiritual guided person who's looking for spiritual fulfilled life and be one with all life
I'm open never able to a just to "normal" life always a bit out of the box, really quit detailed plsnning it never works and is disappointing, I will start my trip from Holland tru the English channel not even planning tides and currents just go at first light and see when I put in for the night.
As soon as I hit the Atlantic the wind will guide me, zo anything is possible, but it will be a trip outside the paved "normal" routes of course I need a port at some point, but the main purpose is to find inner tranquillity and peace a new life.

No experience needed learning on the water
