cavodoros: RYA/MCA Yachtmaster offshore - power boat advanced - commercial endorsed
I've been driven power cargo boats - RIBS - for years for big companies in North Sea and Med. Then jumped into sailing and long deliveries with sailing boats. Recently i'm based in South Aegean Sea Greece giving my services to anyone with a boat visiting my area and wishing to have a better look on this beautiful part of Greece. I know the area well above and under water. I have VERY good knowledge of the area and despite the strong force of the local winds (meltemi) i can advise you or drive you through the most exciting spots of the area.

Skipper/1st mate looking for charters/deliveries

Position (1st): Captain/skipper
Position (2nd): 1st mate
Age: 29

PaulaG: Seeking to focus solely on sailing positions as first mate or skipper. Having held a variety of positions including skipper, first mate, chef, stewardess and deckhand I understand roles on boat and am strongly committed to the ethos of teamwork as such am willing and able to use the range of skills I have developed to organise or assist interior crew when necessary.

In addition to my previous yachting experience, I studied architecture and now I'm developing a blog (www.allende-losmares.com) and a youtube channel (Allende los mares). I believe that my knowlegde about several programs, social network, website design and my sense in organization contribute to my suitability for a position helping to develop a private project with brochures, websites, management or video edition.

I really like challenges and I'm looking for a great opportunity to continue learning and developing my career and also to be able to explore new destinations while get a saving up to begin cruising full time (hopefully... next season?).

I love both mountain and sea sports, such as running, bicycling, climbing, fishing, swimming, diving, kayaking, kitesurfing,... Although I am very sportive, one of my passions is reading and writing.

I speak spanish, english, catalan, portuguese and basic french. I don't smoke and take care about alimentation, I prefer eating healthy food rather than trash food.

When I discover the cruising lifestyle I found fascinating the fact of being self-sufficient with no dependence of freshwater and electricity and depending almost only on your own knowledge and instinct, always in contact with nature and having the opportunity to travel to places you could not reach otherwise. Passionate about the exploration and adventure voyages, I am greatly charmed with the cruising lifestyle.

Sailing experience:
- Skipper, Yogya, Oceanis 36ft, Alboran Sea, 1week 2017

Studying to become a Yachtmaster

Position (1st): 1st mate
Position (2nd): Deckhand
Age: 38
Nationality: British
Location: Spain
Last logged in: 1 hours ago

SarahG33: Hello,

I have completed eight yacht deliveries in the last four years, one being on the South coast of Australia. I have also sailed across the Bay of Biscay several times going in both directions, North and South and also sailed a few times in the Mediterranean.

I have completed two Atlantic crossings going both ways, West and East.

I am currently a Day Skipper and have my ICC and also Power Boat level 2 and ENG1 Medical.

I am working towards my goal of eventually becoming a Yachtmaster and with enough practice and experience, I will be able to achieve this.

Would ideally like a position as a Delivery Crew, Deckhand or Mate.

I am very willing to learn new skills so that I can work my way up into achieving my goals and ambitions.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Many Thanks for reading,

Sarah.
