Hager: I've retired early and hope to spend much of my time sailing. It would be great to join someone who is looking for additional crew and/or help with maintenance (boat preparation)for the new season.

I can be flexible with times/dates, anywhere around the Solent or the South coast would be great.

johnpearce18: Male, 72. I spent 4 weeks last year on a 45ft cutter sailing round the Ionian and Italy. Then picked up the boat again for 2 weeks and sailed from Gib to Lanzarote. Spent about 6 days on watches including night. Been sailing for about 25 years but mainly on Dart 18 dinghy.
Also crewed around Solent and brought a trimaran back to Newquay from S. Wales.

Ssilva: Hello!
I have quitted my job to travel the world, experience a different lifestyle away from the crowds and busy rulled by money places. I wanted to see the world and know different cultures. I have always wanted to come to the Caribbean so I bought a one way ticket here and have been exploring the islands.
Earlier this year I stepped on a boat for the first time to go sailing in Croatia with some friends. Then, I came to the Caribbean and here I have been on 3 boats so far, working as crew in exchange for the opportunity to live aboard and learn more about sailing.
The longer I spend on boats the more I enjoy sailing and the quietness of the life aboard, sailing at sunrise/sunset, being on the anchor in some beautiful remote place, and being out there with no one around, just the sea and the sea creatures.
Crossing from Dominica to Bonaire we did 450nm during 4 days, so I got some experience with night watches and navigation, and I am happy to cook and clean and do general maintenance of the boat.
Not much experience with sailing so bare that in mind, but wanting to learn. (Little by little, each experience you learn new things) Ultimately I would like to cross the Pacific so defo need those sea miles and experience.
I live a simple life, love nature and remote places. No time limit or set destination, just go where life takes me.
I am not a party person, more the quiet type, some would consider that boring and might not fit your crewing "needs".
I am looking for a honest boat which is looking for crew, no romance.
Let's go sailing!

boarders752: My Name is Spencer Churchill. I have been an amateur sailor on a lake in Maine for a number of years now. My dream is to own my own boat and travel the world but I am currently looking for a taste of the adventure I so dearly want. I am keen to learn and have been surrounded by water nearly my whole life. I can easily self entertain or converge with the group. I am a quick learner who is good with his hands and am no stranger to hard work. I am working in New Zealand now, but my lease ends in May and I am looking for a change. I am available for long term crewing from the first of May to mid July. If you want a fun independent lad joining you on your adventure, drop me a line at

Happy Sailing
