elantuan: The miles gives you the experience asSkipper (or whatever) but one of the most important thing on board, which you cannot get it with the experience, is the your CHARACTER. I have more than 100.000 miles but I feel more proud of my character with my mates (or owners, boss...) in every mile I have sailed.
My best value is my character with a big sence of humor, and vey good mate in teams. Hard Working and enthusiastic in everything I do. Discrete and very polite. I consider myself a good leader doing what I love: sailing boats. I was sailing and teaching more than 15 years, loving to work with the customer. Nice cooking skills, spanish cuisine. Skills in wooden, engines, rigging, sails repair, paint, electricity, computers….

AlexNicol: I have RYA and Yachting Australia qualificaions including: Commercially endorsed Yachtmaster Offshore 200 tonnes, Coastal Skipper , Day Skipper, Competent Crew, AEC, Powerboat Level Two, AMC Radio Operator's Certificate, Senior First Aid, Advanced Sea Survival, Current ENG1 and STCW95 (First Aid, Firefighting, PSR, and Sea Survival). I have Captained both power and sail, monohulls and multihulls. I have been a captain on sailing yachts from 40 foot up to 82 foot. This season i have spent working in the South of France, Corsica, Sardinia, Monaco, Tunisa, Italy, Spain and Greece as a freelance relief Captain. During this season i worked on a variety of motor and sailing yachts including Wally power 44 and 47 foot, Capatin on a Sunseeker 66 manhattan to finally a 28 metre classic 1907 motor yacht. I worked for Sunseeker International as a boat builder for five years and for the Sunseeker warranty team when not sailing in the winter months, mostly relaying teak and doing teak repairs. I have also been first mate and deckhand on boats ranging from 11 metres up to 34 metres. I have just got back from delivering a 32 metre sailing yacht across the Atlantic from Barcelona to Antigua.

Preferably I look for a position at caribia or far east, but I am very flexible.
