Patrick047: Hello, my name is Patrick Crawford. I am a recent college graduate from the University of Seton Hall in South Orange, New Jersey. During my tenure at the university, I majored in philosophy. Although I am a recent graduate, my desires are to travel and explore different geographical areas and cultures. My marine related experience is rooted within fishing and Scuba Diving. As a child, my family would travel up 60 miles offshore for deep sea fishing. My certification as a PADI Open Water Diver was obtained in 2010. I have been fortunate enough to scuba dive in the Caribbean Sea as well as the Pacific Ocean. My main objective is to learn new skills, travel to different locations, and meet people from different backgrounds.

Vossie: I am looking to obtain a permanent/seasonal position as a Deckhand (permanent would be ideal to prove longevity). Iím qualified as a PADI Divemaster as a bonus. I have no preference as to whether I work on a private or charter yacht and am available for immediate consideration. I would like to be part of this industry for an extended period of time and further qualify as Bosun.

I thrive on challenges and hard work. I am an active sportsman and in excellent health. I have an eye for detail and keen for water sports and cleaning. Diving is a big passion of mine and did most of my diving in the Red Sea and South-Africa. I have very strong swimming skills and obtained provincial colours in swimming. I also have experience in varnishing, painting, grinding and welding.

Aloha_Sailing: We're 2 funloving persons, having the dream to sail the world one day. But luckily it came to our senses to rather learn sailing before.
We worked on a cruiseship for 5 months and now are travelling Thailand and Malaysia. From May 2017 on we're looking for a sailboat, that needs very friendly, happy, funny, only little experienced but willing-to-learn amateur crew, who can help out with any work that occurs while sailing, e.g. painting, repairing, cooking, scubadiving, playing music, being good company and so on. We have lots of time, so we also can join for longer periods. Our goal is to gain experience, learn as much as possible about sailing, navigation, weather and so on and of course to live adventures, laugh with good people and have lots of fun.
Our experience includes joining one week as crew on a motoryacht in the mediterranean, sailing small sailing dinghies on lakes and joining a short sailcruise.
That's not much, so please help us to improve!

Yazikuo: Finishing a Master of Geography in Paris, I am going to the State of California this summer to pass my Diving insctructor certification and start a project on environmental communication based on underwater live broadcasting. Graduating between the 2nd and 9th of July, you can count on me to be ready by the 12th for departure.

You will find me fit for your board due to my training as a scuba diver in cold water, as a rock climber, and as a runner. Plus, I am eager to learn about what ever you have to teach me and more specifically about sailing, climatology, oceanography, and teletransmission.
Easy going, I bring onboard my competences as a geographer, a scuba-diver, and a photographer.
Count on me to assume my part in the navigation through maneuvering, stearing, cooking, saling, and in all other activities related to the boat.

If any spare time shows up, you will find me working on my project and studying books as I would like to take advantage of the trip to get closer to my goals while getting some miles and boat experiences.

So far, my boating experiences have been on the Mediterrannean Sea during summer and late autumn expeditions on sail boats. Some of them were from France to Corsica, others on the Tyrrhennian Sea. So I haven't cross an entire ocean yet but I am ready for it and already have crossed a country on water by canoe. (Mountains2Montreal expedition in 2011)

With the eagerness to sail,

Mr. Joseph Ralph Rizzuto

joerizz20: Hi! My name is Joe. I am from New York originally. I attended Boston College and have a degree in philosophy and chemistry. I will be attending medical school in Australia beginning in February 2017 specializing in rural and remote healthcare. I love being in remote areas, off the grid, and away from technology. I consider myself somewhat of an explorer and dive right into the unknown and embrace it wholeheartedly. Additionally, I love the ocean and take every chance I get to be near or in it. I enjoy surfing, diving, fishing and boating. I spent four months studying marine biology in the Galapagos Islands. I am also a PADI certified dive master and have returned to the Galapagos to work as a divemaster there.
I prefer to use my free time reading and learning new skills. I am very into fitness, exercise and nutrition. I am a pretty good cook and enjoy preparing my own meals. I am not religious, but enjoy Buddhist philosophies.
Aside from my studies, I worked in a chemistry laboratory, taught literacy classes for over a year, owned a small landscaping company, and worked in an art gallery for adults with special needs (down syndrome, autism, blind, etc.).
I am a motivated individual and eager to provide any help I can. I also don't mind relaxing when the time is right. I want to learn about new cultures and all of their aspects.
