NoManOverBoard14: I'm not looking for a leisure vacation, I want to learn new stuff and perfection my sailing skills. I have a very good dinghy experience and ability, I occasionally skip a J80 with my brothers and completed 100 nm on a 48ft Bavaria for my RYA Competent Crew course. I am fond of water (in a dinghy you need to be) and can handle strong winds with enthusiasm (No wind, no fun).

I am very interested in racing, but also love cruising, as long as there is work to keep busy, sun and a goal of getting the most out of the wind.

I am strong and in good physical shape, can bear hard work. I have a good mechanical understanding (I'm a good car fan) and learn fast.

I speak fluently French, Italian and English, and have basic knowledge of German and Mandarin (Chinese). I can do some cooking, and most of my guests are still alive. I'm studying music in Guangxi (China), I am available during the summer holidays (July-August), the winter Chinese Spring Festival (January-February), and of course week-end and occasionally whole weeks (race events), as long as it's close enough.

If I forgot to mention anything that is important to you, please let me know.

Juri: Just a bit about me and my sailing experience, I've sailed dingyees (optimist, laser, splash, 470) since I was 8 and have competed in various world- and euro cups in the UK, Italy, France and the Netherlands. On bigger boats I started as crew on "Satori" in the Mediterranean. I've twice crewed on a swan 65 "Ilios", once for about 1 month in the Mediterranean and once a little over 3 months in the Caribbean from Guadeloupe to Trinidad. At the end of that trip I've joined a 39ft yacht "repose" for a 8 day passage from Trinidad via Cartagena to Panama. The last two seasons, i've crewed on Laser 28s with this last season we became the winner of all class events on "Decompression". I am an Mechanical and Environmental Engineer by trade, have over 12 years of experience in outdoor activities from climbing and mountaineering to backcountry skiing, I have a red cross first aid certificate and speak Dutch, German, English, Spanish et un petit peux Francais. I should be arriving in Tahiti from Easter Island beginning of May and would be happy to join boats onward to Australia.

Alaskan girl looking for adventure

Position (1st): Amateur crew
Position (2nd): Racing Crew
Age: 29
Nationality: USA

Kombucha: I grew up playing around on a little zuma with my sister and cousins. I've always dreamed of learning how to sail on the ocean and have been drawn by the idea of traveling so freely. I am a quick learner and a strong, hard worker and am hoping to learn everything I can about sailing from a sailor who doesn't mind teaching someone new to the lifestyle.

I am an EMT. I am also learning to dive (with my open water and dry suit certifications right now, but I am hoping to learn more soon!)

I have been running sled dogs up in Alaska for the last four years and am patrolling Denali Park by dog team currently. Work is up November 17th and I'd love to go on an adventure!

SavvySalt: I'm an experienced offshore watch leader seeking more experience offshore. I've started sailing dinghys 7 years ago, have been skippering "big boats" for 5 years and accumulated 5000nm offshore in 2015 and 2016. I am comfortable standing solo night watches. I love it offshore, have never been seasick (knock on wood) and am looking for opportunities to get offshore and learn more about offshore sailing.
