Jimmy82: I am a 34 y.o. italian/british living on a beautiful mediterranean island, Sardinia.

thanks to crewbay I already had many enjoyable sailing experiences around the mediterranean, biscay and the canary islands.
I enjoy every part of sailing and confident in all maneuvers (I hold the italian skippering licence and the rya coastal skipper practical)
I am looking for fun, enjoyable sailing with with nice and happy people who share the love for sea, nature, sailing and visiting places from a "local" perspective rather than just being a tourist.

My last 3 experiences:

Oct-Nov'16 -on a beautiful hallberg-rassy54- 1.300NM from Turkey to Spain. first 2 weeks 3 people on board, last 2 weeks just me and the captain. We went island hopping in south greece, sicily, sardinia and last few days around barcelona to find the best marina to leave the boat for the winter.

April '16 1 week sailing (250nm) on the biscay coast (atlantic - west france) on a 33ft Elan just me and the owner (an Oxford research professor), only day sailing so I had the chance to get used with scheduling departures/arrivals according to tides so to be able to come in/out marinas.

Nov'15 cruise/delivery (6 weeks) 1.500NM from Italy to Tenerife on a 43ft Elan. 2-handed first 3 weeks then joined by a 3rd crew member. Sailing 3/4 days legs between marinas to fill up water, ...etc. Absolutely loved it, (I love sailing at night till the sun rises, especially coastal) The owner was so welcoming and easygoing and it didn't take long to became good friends and still keep in touch.

I enjoy marina hopping but also love night sailing.
I am available to crew/deliver in autumn, winter, spring (I work for the holiday lettings industry during the summer).
between May and October I can offer 2/3 days local knowledge around Sardinia and Corsica.

I am passionate about sailing, kitesurfing, surfing and kayaking. I have good maintenance skills - I have restored myself my little diesel engine boat (the engine was completely derelict) and I am a good Italian cook. (best onshore, but i can organize for some good simple food while on passage too).

Can reach various places around the world.
Looking forwards to have fun, meeting new friends and visiting new places! (and of course sail .-)

olgahelena: Hi,
My name is Olga and I'm 23 y.o. from Poland.

After graduation in July I've decided to take gap year to sail and travel.
I'm positive, open-minded person, easy-going, but hard working.

I've been sailing since I was 7 y.o., started with optimist and sailing with my parents.
I have sailed more than 5000 nm (including ocean experience). I mostly sailed on yachts around 39 ft but I have also experience with sailing on bigger ones (up to 128 ft long). I've crossed Atlantic Ocean in November (Gran Canaria to Martinique).

On board I can do antything: cook, clean, paint, keep the night watch on my own, take care of kids... I'm quick learner as well. I'm competent crew, reliable and service-minded.

I love outdoor activities and non-fiction books.
If you want to meet me, let me know. I'm in Panama City but I can travel to Colon as well.

z3ddie: I have just completed 6 glorious weeks sailing around the beautiful islands of Fiji.
2 weeks were on the tall ship JST Tenacious followed by joining a 100ft schooner to explore the smaller islands in the north west of the group.
Also just assisted with a delivery of a Cat from Ibiza to Portugal - was supposed to be all the way to UK but picked up an eye injury and had to jump ship in Cascais
I am confident on the helm and with rigging, setting, trimming, comms and nav.
No formal RYA but more than a keen amateur.
Told good company with a good sense of humor and work ethic.
Not afraid of the scubbing brush and useful in the galley as well

HelgaMarie: Me and my friend from Italy are looking for some sailing experience. I have the greek sailing license, and have been doing some recreational sailing and a few races, mostly in Australia and Greece. WE are both also taking the Norwegian boat license this summer

We are noe looking for a boat where we can get experience in sailing before going on a longer journey next year.
From the 27th of July we are up to go sailing for some weeks, at that time we will be in Barcelona, but we are able to move a bit around to get to the boat. We are hoping sail around Europe until the end of August.

MaeveG1: Hi,
I have previously sailed from the Solomon Islands to Singapore via the Banda sea aboard the SV infinity and most recently sailed from Antigua to Australia via the panama canal, french polynesia and the society islands.
Love my job as a Taxonomist but miss sailing offshore, I have had some of the best and worst times of my life onboard (so far) onboard boats and have loved every second (every time).
Really want to do an Atlantic crossing in (either direction) in the coming year, although ideally (realistically) want to do coastal, weekend/short passages over the next few months around the British Isles, Ireland, Scotland and Europe. Basically want to get on the water!!

Mircat7: I'm 59 years old, fairly fit, fun, love the water, outdoors and sailing, and have a good sense of humor. I've worked in dental/art world most of my life. I'm mechanically minded, along with my creativity. Years ago I sailed 6 to 7 different trips down the Caribbean chain, on chartered boats with friends. 10 years ago I got certified for a couple levels of sailing on a learning boat. Unfortunately I haven't been since. I'd like to change that. It would need to be the right situation.

Want experience and have the desire to learn to sail.

mdfarmer: I have been on a couple sailboats and am looking for another adventure on the water. I am willing to help any way I can to learn the ropes with the hope of one day owning a sailboat. So far sea sickness has not been an issue.
I do not want to be a free-loader. I have the resources to get any place to meet and can be flexible. Buying all of the needed food and drink is not a problem. In return for the favor of allowing me as your guest, I am willing to contribute financially toward the boat.
I have farmed all my life and remodeled properties in my spare time. I am easy-going, laid-back, honest, genuine and well mannered. I do not smoke or drink and have no use for drugs. I love the beauty of the water and the coasts. I enjoy the freedom of secluded locations and the simple beauty of nature. I like to kayak and hike as well.
I would love to join a like-minded person who has patience and could use some help as well as company.
A day on the Chesapeake or a more involved voyage in a tropical location would not be out of the question as long as things are in check at the farm. Short notice works at times. My passport is valid.
I can supply character references from life-long friends or business professionals such as my attorney if needed.
I look forward to hearing from you!
