Lombok to Cairns or part thereof
Update: We are now in Flores and will be arriving in Kupang around Dec 30. We have availability for 1 crew or a couple / friends. Heading to Darwin and on to Cairns.
We are a couple in our 50s from Singapore sailing a 40ft Grainger design cat to Australia. We will be in Lombok and plan to depart mid to late November.
We will travel via Sumbawa, Komodo, Flores and check out on Kupang before heading to Darwin.
We would like to be in Darwin before the 15th of January weather permitting.
We are looking for one crew or a couple ideally with some sailing experience who would like to join us and enjoy this cruise.
We have 10 years sailing experience and 10k+ nautical miles under our belts. On the boat the highest priority is safety for crew and boat so please don't be on a schedule because we can not predict weather and our ability to get you somewhere in time. We will mostly day hop and do overnighters only when it is safe and the conditions are good.
We are easygoing but expect the crew to share daily chores. We cook on board when there are no facilities otherwise we find a place to eat on land.
If you spend half of your day on your phone then this is not for you.
Food, drinks, mooring and fuel are on a shared basis, we take care of any boat costs.
The cat has two double berths and your berth has a working head. We have a deckshower that we use for rinsing off. Water is a scarce resource on our boat as we don't have a water maker. We have plenty of charging points for phones and tablets but no 220/110V.
