Island Hopping around Greece.

Hello Crewbayers! Looking for sea and sun-loving people to complete our crew for our island hopping around the North Aegean Sea, Greece, from Volos to Fanari. The total trip will be for seven days, 300 nm.

Embarking from Volos, a city with a rich maritime tradition, the flotilla will sail through the Sporades, one of Greece’s most enchanting regions. The Sporades are known for their crystal-clear waters, lush green slopes, and stunning beaches. This archipelago consists of 24 islands, of which four are the most well-known: Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonissos, and Skyros.

The journey will conclude in the picturesque village of Fanari on October 27th, a place that combines traditional architecture with beautiful nature. Here, sailors will have the chance to relax and reflect on the wonderful experience they have had.

It’s a highly expected and also a one-of-a-kind social cruise, during which you visit small bays and harbours in beautiful famous but also hidden destinations while practising and developing your nautical skills.

We have no expectations of you, and no sea experience is required - this is a chance for you to enjoy a beautiful area of Greece with an experienced captain and crew, in a luxurious sailing boat with all comforts!

This is a chance for you to a) discover beautiful locations and islands in Greece outside of the beaten track, b) learn, train, and improve sailing skills c) get more miles under your feet d) enjoy a good time, meet new people, eat delicious greek food in picturesque locations and harbours.

The contribution is 550 EUR and includes your place in a double cabin, port fees (we're going to spend most of the nights in different picturesque small Greek port villages), fuel costs (this is calculated on an average from previous experience, although of course we all just want to sail, the engine sometimes need to be used), boat cleaning costs, etc. Your food is not included, although in Greece it's very affordable and good quality - you can decide what provisions to buy before boarding, and how much you'd like to eat in small tavernas in the ports.

The sailing boat is very recent, almost new, built in 2023, and in perfect condition with the latest gadgets and technology, and safety equipment included. It has 4 double cabins, a large kitchen/living room with big sofas, and outside two sofas for sleeping under the stars.

We'll be part of a larger flotilla of our sailing club, therefore we'll have further safety, assistance during mooring, and last but not least, more people to socialize and meet when on port!
