Full-Time Stew Position Available in Cancun, Mexico
Are you passionate about yachting and hospitality?
We have an opening for a Stew position aboard our 105-foot yacht based in beautiful Cancun, Mexico.
Responsibilities:
Interior cleaning
Table service
Bartending and drink service
General inventory management
Assisting with docking
Occasional onboard laundry (most is sent out after charters)
Assist on Deck
Requirements:
Fluent in English; willingness to learn Spanish if not already proficient
STCW Certification is a plus
Massage therapist credentials are advantageous but not required
Schedule & Compensation:
Primarily land-based, making it ideal for local candidates with family commitments
Expect 1-2 owner trips per month, lasting 2-4 days each, and the remainder being day charters
10-15 working days a month in total
Starting salary of $2,000 USD monthly, with tips split among the crew
Luxury crew apartment with pool available after a successful 90-day probationary period
Team and Culture:
Our crew size ranges from 5-6 members, most of whom are local but with extensive Med or Caribbean Experience. We pride ourselves on being young, cool, drama-free, and uncomplicated. We're looking for new team members who embody these qualities.
What We Offer:
After the probationary period, a permanent position with full benefits will be offered. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to enter the field, and although the position is primarily land-based, living aboard is an option.
