Hello adventurous souls! Are you dreaming of sailing the open seas, exploring coastal towns, and chasing waves? I'm looking for a companion to share this incredible journey with me.

---About Me and the Adventure---
I'm an experienced sailor with a passion for the ocean and a 37ft Southerly 115 Mk 1 named "Simplicity". For the past seven years, I've been living aboard, sailing over 4000nm from Greece through the Mediterranean and to the Atlantic coast.
I'm currently sailing down the coast of Portugal to spend winter in the south exploring the lagoons and winter surf spots. This adventure is about sharing experiences, learning together, finding surf and enjoying the journey.

---The Plan---
Current Location: Peniche, heading south to Lisbon over the next few days where m current crew leaves and I'll be looking for new crew.

Route: From mid September 2026 I'll be setting off down the coast from Lisbon, hugging the coast to avoid Orcas and aiming for the lagoons of Faro in the South.

Next Stops: From Lisbon there are we'll start with a few relatively short hops stopping in places like Sesimbra, Setubal and Sines. From Sines it is a longer leg with only one potential anchorage if weather allows. Once in the south, pace will slow and days will be spent at anchor and hopefully surfing some warmer waters.

Pace: Leisurely, allowing time to explore towns and surf spots, as well as do what ever boat work may arise. It is important to note that Simplicity is first and foremost a sailboat, she is solar electric, which means there is no turning on the engine to motor for hours on end when there is no wind or uncomfortable seas. The motor is there to get us out of trouble and in and out of marinas and anchorages. Thus we wait and choose our weather windows wisely. This is a great opportunity for someone who really wants to learn to sail.

---What I'm Looking For---
I'm open to all interested parties, but I'm particularly hoping to connect with someone who might become a more long term partner in this journey. Whether you're an experienced sailor or a complete novice eager to learn, what matters most is your spirit of adventure and enthusiasm for the journey.

While I'm open to, and ideally would like the possibility of a deeper connection developing naturally, there's absolutely no expectation of finding a romantic partner. The primary goal is to share this amazing experience with like-minded individuals and hopefully create some lasting friendships

--- Onboard Life ---
Accommodation: Private cabin with two bunks
Skills: No specific sailing skills required - I'm happy to teach!
Contribution: Assistance with two-person maintenance tasks and watches appreciated
Costs: I cover boat expenses; you're responsible for travel and food.
Diet: Plant-based cooking onboard (your choices are your own when ashore), Simplicity is a dry boat, meaning no alcohol on board also no smoking permitted onboard.
