Trieste (IT) to Malta, June/July 2026
I will be sailing from Trieste, in Northern Italy, to Malta and back, starting some time around June 15. Milage, depending on course, around 800 nm either way.
Looking for crew members interested to join for the trip or for sections (we can arrange this as needed).
The idea is coastal cruising with nights at anchor, mooring buoy or marinas, possibly three to four overnights to make some way.
The boat is a modern 33ft cruiser with small crew (two to three) for this trip, so a ideally, you are an all-rounder, and we can share tasks from sailing, navigation, watch to cooking.
Boat, fuel and provisions on board will be on me, as will be marina/harbour/mooring costs. I suggest we provision jointly (to make sure you are happy with the diet on board). If there are onshore meals or other cost on land, I expect that everybody covers their own.
It would be nice if you are communicative, interested, and curious. For me, English will work fine as board language (my language of origin is German, I also speak some Italian and some French). If you are not a native English speaker, you should be able to actively converse in English, and (ideally) also know the nautical terminology in that language.
