Gibraltar to Cherbourg, 31/7 to 20/8
Up the Portuguese coast, maybe partially offshore depending on the current Orca situation. About equal time in port/at anchor and sailing. Longer passages will happen. It is August, so it will be warm and mostly pleasant weather.
There will be a lot of watch-keeping, day and night. We share the basic work, like sailing, cooking, provisioning and so on. Normally we sail with 4 to 6 people onboard.
The boat is an ex racing yacht, so a little spartan under deck, but we have all the basic amenities.
The itinerary is a little depending on winds. We might have to wait a few days in for example Gibraltar or Southern Portugal. I would very much like to visit the Rias in Northern Spain, but that is also depending on circumstances.
Looking for someone who likes challenges, is able to rough it at times and who likes the sea.
For costs, flights are on the crew, food is shared, so also marina costs (normally not much, we prefer to anchor). Fuel, maintenance and so on are on the boat!

Best sailing trip along the turkish coast!
Sailing with Martin felt very comfortable, fun and safe. He is definitely a very experienced captain, has a lot of knowledge and is always open to teach you something about sailing. It was a very fun and active sailingtrip with in total 4 people on the boat from Mersin to Marmaris along the coast of Turkey. We did a lot of swimming and snorkeling, went to some nice little towns as well as to some beautiful little bays. I can only recommend going sailing with Martin, as he is a very kind, relaxed and trustworthy person???☺️
