1st Officer - Temporary / Seasonal - Min exp 6 years - Negotiable - General (Europe)
Seeking very experienced co-Captain/1st Mate for guiding family of 4 across Meditteranean and possibly Atlantic if we mesh well.
We purchased a 2002 Catana 581 Catamaran and require assistance in transiting from Lefkada, Greece to Gibraltar, then to Canarias and possibly onwards.
WE do not smoke, do not drink. Alcohol and smoking is not allowed. We are seeking someone who is very experienced with mechanical, electrical, B&G as well as C-zone is a big plus.
Duties:
Cleaning
Engines, Maintenance and diagnostics as issues occur
Mechanical/Plumbing as issues occur
Electrical enhancements, diagnostics, troubleshooting as issues occur etc..
Night & Day Duties, 2-3 hour sailing watches
Reasonable time off, but expected to work often for maintenance and repairs and not just lay around :)
We eat mostly meat and soups, not a lot of vegetables. If you are VEGAN or similar, it would not fit well.
Payment is negotiable dependent upon length and how we mesh together.
We had a Catamaran previously for a couple of years, travelled throughout the Carribean. Now we are looking to go back out, and have some new adventures and learn the new boat.
