Come Sail in 2026: Fiji - Vanuatu - New Caledonia - Brisbane
We are sailing around the world, and invite you to join us this year aboard our 65 foot classic world cruising sailboat. You don't need any previous experience, but you must of course be ready to learn and build your competence as we go.
The captain is 55, has 40.000 miles of sailing experience and has lived aboard this vessel since 2023. For this season he is accompanied by his daughter 26. We are looking for 3-4 additional crew for this amazing voyage.
The general plan is to sail from New Zealand to Fiji, Vanuatu New Caledonia and end up in or around Brisbane, Australia. You can join for two weeks, one month or two months.
Crew contribution:
2 weeks: 2000 USD/person
1 month: 3000 USD/person
2 months: 5000 USD/person
This includes food, fuel, marinas and contribution to general maintenance of the vessel. In addition you bring your own snacks and beverages, and there may be costs related to immigrations, customs and clearance that we share.
Our tentative dates and location for (dis)embarking:
July 20th Fiji
August 20th Vanuatu
September 20th Vanuatu

For two weeks stay, either embarking or disembarking should line up with the above dates.
Since you are still reading, please reach out and we can have a chat to get to know you and give you some more information about this opportunity.

Wish I could have stayed longer
Had the pleasure to be on Klaus for 3 weeks, sailing from Tahiti to the Cook Islands. Klaus is fairly spacious for a monohull and it felt like living in someones well equipped home. Life is still more frugal than at home and you are close together. It's life at sea after all and if you're ready to induldge, you'll appreciate it. I also appreciated Tom's experience and calmness, always feeling safe. He takes time to explain things and puts trust in you, and in return expects that people remember stuff and take care of the boat. We visited beautiful french polynesian islands and had one longer passage of 3 days. We were 2 crew, would take watches when sailing, help with mooring/anchoring and share the daily tasks. When not sailing we went snorkelling, did little trips to land but also just enjoyed our time on board?. I found there was a good mix of doing stuff together but also doing "your own thing". We shared laughs and good conversations, while it not being a party boat. For me it was the most relaxing holiday in a long time but still felt like a big adventure - a perfect mix. Thanks Tom & Klaus and hopefully see you soon!
