Looking for a boat and cat sitter during my vacation.
The boat is moored in Solomon islands, Western Province. Steel ketch 43‘, 2 cabins, shower outside, additional facilities and freezer on shore, Starlink internet. Kayaks for paddling tours and to get the 15 m to shore.
There are 2 cats, Linus and Luis, on the boat who are looking for a lovely person to stay with them and taking care during I am out of the country for a couple of months.
Beside a cat loving heart you should be expierenced to look after a boat. Not much to do, but in case of a cyclone be able to do normal things like lower the canvas and just have a good look at everything. Mooring is already cyclone proofed without any problems. People around to give a hand as well in case off.
A housekeeper is coming 5 days a week for boat cleaning inside, doing the laundry, fill up the watertank. In case you are a few days off for excursions in between she will stay on the boat to look after the cats.
15 minutes walk to bank, shops, market and public bus to Munda.
Every Monday a local is bringing fruits and vegetables for fixed 80 SBD / 8€ / 14,40 AUD. This money/income is important for him to pay the school fees for his grandchild.
