From Spain to Canarias, Cabo Verde, Azores and back to Spain.
September to December 2026.
Oceanic Sailing in between the Spanish and Portuguese Islands of the North Atlantic ___________________________________________________________________
#0 Delivery into Spain : Asturias to Galicia (Muros or Vigo) : 3 days - 200 Nm - dates to be decided this summer (mid to end of September)
This may be combined with #1, as this is a good opportunity to get familiar with the boat.

#1 Spain (Galicia) - Madeira - Canarias : 10 days - 900 Nm ( 25 Sep - 05 October)
Downwind sailing offshore the portuguese coast for 700 Nm / a small stop in Madeira / and then a short passage to Canarias (250 Nm).

#2 Canarias - Cabo Verde - 10 days - 1000 Nm (23 - 30 October)
Another downwind sailing offshore the african coast, to reach the beautiful and warm archipelago of Cabo Verde, at the gate of the tropics.

#3 Cabo Verde to Azores : 1500 Nm - 10 days - 15 to 30 November
Challenging passage around the Azores high pressure system, after the hurricanes season. Reaching in Horta (Faial) and/or Ponta Delgada (Sao Miguel).

#4 Azores - Spain - 15 days - 1200 Nm ( 5 to 20 December)
Standard passage from Azores to Europe. Reaching in Muros (Galicia) or Avilès (Asturias).
open to 2 to 4 extra crew.

This are ocean Sailing type passages, in which we are aim to enhance human skills and perceptions, in this age of technology where it is easy to simulate or manipulate everything ; we believe that human techniques must be at the heart of the art of sailing.

We are here help you to organize your skills into a coherent pattern, aiming for autonomy in ocean sailing.
We like sharing tips and sometimes knowledge ;)
We are not a sailing school, we do not delivering any diploma of any type.

We organise "RYA type" passages, compliant with YM Offshore and YM Ocean requirements. We have a Sextant on board that you can use, but you will have to bring your own sight reduction tables.

You are expected to be fully involved into every duties and activities onboard, accordingly to your abilities. We will of course support you in every aspects of life on a sailing boat at sea.

Contribution is asked, per trip/week per crew member. It includes accommodation, food, fuel, satcoms and marina fees.

For offshore legs, you ideally will have spent at least few nights at sea, and have experienced some strong or heavy weather conditions for a significant amount of time.

For coastal legs even few experienced sailors will be fine.
Total crew will be 4-6 people for efficient and fast sailing and various training opportunities.

We will do celestial navigation training and practise. We will go into every aspect of managing a boat and a crew when offshore over a long duration.
We will do several foresail changes, reefing, and flying spinnakers, trying to get the best from our boat.

Preferably no heavy smokers ; and of course no alcohol at sea, and no drugs at all....

Stéphane is a very good teacher, patient and with a lot of knowledge. The boat is lovely and in perfect conditions, which is very good opportunity to learn about all kind of maintenanc. He is very welcoming and respectful. We didn't had the possibility to sailing together but based on is professional and non professional experience I would recommend 100% .
