?⛵️ Crew Wanted: Luperón (DR) ➜ Bahamas — mid/late December ??➡️??

?⛵️ Crew Wanted: Luperón (DR) ➜ Bahamas — mid/late December ??➡️??
We’re planning a hop from Luperón, Dominican Republic to the Bahamas in mid–late December (weather window). The passage is about 2–3 days. After landfall we’ll be working remotely, so we won’t be island-hopping every day—more like slow cruising and comfy anchorages.
About us
Remote-working couple living aboard (reliable Starlink on board)
Chill vibe, safety-first, non-smoking boat
37’ cruising sailboat (private cabin/berth shared depending on fit)
What we’re looking for
1 person (or a duo) with a good attitude; some sailing experience is a plus but not required
Happy to help with watch-keeping, cooking, cleaning, light boat projects—and spearfishing if you’re into it
Okay with small-space living and team routines
Logistics
Travel: Crew arrange their own flight to the DR and from the Bahamas.
Stay: You’re welcome to stay on after the passage if it’s a good fit.
Contribution: If you stay over 2 weeks, we ask for a $150 contribution toward shared costs (food, drinks, permits, fuel, etc.). (For context: Bahamas fees add up—~$500 cruising permit + ~$200 anchoring + ~$100/month fishing—so the contribution is mostly symbolic.)
Interested? Drop a DM with a quick intro (experience, dates, any questions) and we’ll set up a short call/interview. Photos or IG handle welcome.
