From the Carribean to the Arctic
I am looking for one intrepid crew for a trip to the Arctic in the summer of 2026.
Retired professional skipper, already sailed in the ice (in Antarctica).
Vegetarian food, No smoking on board.
Numerous references from former crew members available.
Currently, I'm between Guadeloupe and Martinique. I'm planning to sail to the ABC, then Columbia in April. From there I will be sailing north in early May, and could pick up a crew in Columbia, Cuba, the Dominican Republic or the Bahamas in late April or early May, or from Canada in late May / early June.
If interested, please write and tell me why we will be a good match!

Experienced sailor
I first met Christophe when sailing a passage from Portugal to Canaries with him on his beloved aluminium longkeeler Apsara in 2023. I quickly found out that he knows his boat inside out and is quick to understand and solve any situation that might occur during an offshore cruise. Nevertheless, he lets his crew participate in all of the navigational tasks or is happy to provide you with knowledge and guidance for the aspects you feel less comfortable with. A good opportunity to learn! As a politically and ecologically engaged person, Christophe is very interesting to talk to during long watches and has a lot of stories to tell. I had the pleasure to sail with him again in 2025 and get to know his home waters in Western Ireland. Thanks and fair winds to you!
