Looking for cruising partner/deckhand/cook for sailing the Chesapeake and mid Atlantic coastal, cruising.

Competent Crew/Deckhand/Steward

Private owner-operated 42 ft sailing yacht (Catalina) seeks an experienced sailor to live aboard.

Duties
• Sail handling, reefing, anchoring, docking
• General deck duties and routine maintenance
• Basic diesel/systems awareness
• Coastal Chesapeake sailing with possible offshore legs

Requirements
• Some experience willingness to learn
• Good spoken English or Spanish
• Calm, reliable, team-oriented
• Valid passport and ability to obtain U.S. visa

Details
• compensation negotiable
• Term: 3–6 months (extendable)
• Room & board included
• shakedown / trial period
• Private yacht (not charter / not superyacht)

Serious applicants will be able to provide three captains references within the past five years.

Basic diesel knowledge is a plus. Steward experience is a plus.
