Calon Lan sails back to europe from saint martin

Calon Lan sails back to europe

This trip will start in Saint Martin, Caribbean around mid April, and involves sailing to the Azores, possibly via Bermuda. I am currently sailing in the northern Caribbean so you may join the boat earlier.

The boat is a well maintained Hallberg Rassy Monson. A very capable 31ft blue water cruising boat that I have owned and sailed for the last 10 years.

My journey started in the UK 7 years ago and I’ve covered over 10,000 nautical miles in her since then. I’m now looking to return to the UK.

I am looking for two crew members with offshore experience. This passage can be quite challenging. The space is small so you will not have your own cabin but will have your own bunk. There is no water maker but we will carry sufficient water.

This is not a paid position but would suit someone looking to get their miles up or travel the world without flying. You will contribute your share of the food costs as well as any personal costs in port (visas etc…). I will cover all the boat costs.

The boat and captain are currently in the dominican republic and so it is possible to join the boat earlier in that location.
