Join an Atlantic crossing from Guadeloupe to the Azores starting mid May 2026
Looking for crew for a transatlantic crossing from Guadeloupe to the Azores.
Embarkation date: May 14th 2026
Start date: May 17th 2026
Estimated date of arrival: +/- June 8th 2026 (depending on the weather)
Yacht: Lagoon 42 (2024 model)
You can join for free. Diesel costs are covered by the owner. You just need to pay for shared groceries/shared use starlink internet connection/ shared berth fee in Ponta Delgada.
Experienced or novice crew is welcome. You will get a comprehensive safety briefing before departure. Novice crew can learn sailing and experienced sailors can extend their knowledge in sailing, navigation incl. passage planning, weather forecasts, seamanship, maritime law, etc.
Comfortable catamaran for ocean crossing. Every cabin has it's own toilet.
Willingness to take night watches and take turns in cooking for the crew is expected. It will be a journey full of great experiences, however it is not a party boat. Looking for crew you can rely on and that looks out for each other.
