EPIRB More on Harbors Unknown This is a short note to explain how things work on Wanderlust, and what life on board actually looks like. ⸻ Contributions This is not a charter. Wanderlust is our home. If you come on board, you are part of it. Everyone helps with daily life. Cooking. Cleaning. Keeping things in order. No one is expected to do maintenance, but if you’re curious, you’re welcome to get involved. The contribution is $50 per day. It covers food on board, diesel, dinghy fuel, and the ongoing costs of running the boat. You cover your own immigration costs when moving between countries. Anything off the boat, alcohol, snacks, small personal things, those are yours. We cook real meals. Simple, solid. No one goes hungry. ⸻ Social Media Harbors Unknown is a record of this life. There are cameras around. Not constantly, not in your face, but enough that you will be part of the story. You don’t have to perform. Actually, better if you don’t. Just be yourself. ⸻ Sailing You don’t need experience to apply, but crew selection will be based on experience, miles on the water and other skills like, like familiarity with filming and social media. If you want to learn, you will. If you don’t, you’ll still pick things up just by being here. Time on board is not structured around lessons or short outings. We move when it makes sense to move, and that often means longer stretches underway. You settle into the rhythm of watches, sail changes, and whatever the conditions ask for. Some days are active. Some are quiet. Most are a mix of both. We still make time for the water when we can. It just depends on where we are and what the window allows. ⸻ Sleeping Space is shared, but there is no hot-bedding. We limit the crew to the available bunks. The boat is well designed, but it’s still a boat. Privacy exists, but it’s limited. You adjust quickly. ⸻ Food We cook based on what we have. Sometimes we catch fish. Sometimes we don’t. Sometimes the stores are good. Sometimes they’re not. Cooking rotates. If you don’t cook, you’ll help someone who does. Flexibility matters more than preference. ⸻ Life on Board Water and power are not infinite. You become aware of what you use. Showers are short. Things get turned off. There’s a rhythm to it. Some days are quiet. Some are not. ⸻ Logistics You get yourself to and from the boat. Timing is not exact. Weather decides more than we do. Plans change. Delays happen. Sometimes we stay longer than expected. Sometimes we leave earlier. Safety comes first. ⸻ Itinerary We don’t follow a strict plan. We move when conditions line up and when it makes sense to keep going. Some stops are short. Some disappear altogether. Final decisions are left to the captain. Responsibility sits there. ⸻ Final Thought This is not a vacation. It’s a moving environment with a purpose. You share space, time, and responsibility with the people around you. If that works for you, reach out. Fabio
