On the 9th of June Chiaro Di Luna sets sail towards the islands again.
Happy to share the trip with people looking to build some miles, see some dolphins/whales, listen to good music and hopefully catch some tuna...
Chiaro Di Luna has completed almost 20,000nm in the last three years, and has just undergone a comprehensive refit preparing her for the upcoming circumnavigation I am commencing with my partner.
If you are interested in a cabin for the trip down to Ibiza, get in touch!
Cheers.

Saludos.

Sailing legends in the making….
I had the unbelievable good fortune to join la Luna from Spain to the canaries. The boat is huge, I had a cabin to myself and my own heads, with warm water and a seated shower. The provisioning was excellent, a cupboard of sweets and always plenty fresh fruit for night watch. At the time we ran 2hrs on 4off through the night, 3hrs on 6off through daylight. Which actually works really well , I was surprised I think I prefer it to the 4on, because everyone takes a load on the difficult watches, everyone experiences the good sailing moments and 2 hours on hand steering goes quick. You also get to see all the crew regularly. This was an early shakedown run, so we had great opportunity to try lots of different sail plans and rigging which was brilliant, but most most importantly is the crew. The guys let me have a huge input and equal input into nearly every decision, I felt myself not only heard, but part of the process. I was made at home from the first day.
