Competent Crew for Cruising Greek Islands

I’m looking for someone to crew with me for approx 5 weeks from mid May through to the 20th June. The boat is a 4 year old Dutch built Contest 55CS and she has sailed circa 12000 nautical miles since taking delivery in 2023. The boat is presently in Leros in the eastern Cyclades and goes back into the water on May 13th. The boat is easily sailed with a crew of two and will be heading east to Rhodes via Kos and Symi before sailing to Crete and then onto the western Peloponnese and then Corfu arriving around the 20th June. I’m looking for someone who is easygoing and adaptable and personality is more important than sailing experience, but in saying that an experienced crew member would be a great asset. The boat is a 55ft performance cruiser that is very comfortable and exceptionally well built, and is fast and exciting to sail. I hope to build a friendship with the successful applicant and there will be further opportunities to join the boat in the Caribbean late 2026 and a Pacific crossing in 2027 as she begins the long journey back home to Australia.

Mastervolt electronics throughout including high capacity Lithium batteries. Sleipner retractable bow and stern thrusters with proportional control. Generator and water maker. Full suite of offshore safety equipment including second auto-pilot. Comms include VHF and SSB HF radio with Iridium Go and PredictWind for weather information. Volvo 150 HP shaft drive with high capacity alternator. Fully enclosed cockpit for heavy weather sailing and very comfortable interiors. The boat sails fast and handles the heavy stuff.
