Wanted: Competent Crew /Volunteer Work – Fiji to Vanuatu, Solomons, Indonesia . Fully equipped 24m/80Ft Offshore SV
Seeking competent sailing crew for a passage from Fiji to Vanuatu and North aboard a cruising sailboat. This is a hands-on voyage and is best suited to sailors who are comfortable participating in all aspects of vessel operation and maintenance. Private bunk and ensuite head and shower.
Requirements:
Previous sailing experience and ability to stand watch independently.
Comfortable with sail handling, helming, lookout duties, anchoring, and docking operations.
Physically capable of ascending the mast in a bosun's chair when required.
Comfortable cleaning and inspecting the hull using hookah gear.
Positive attitude, good teamwork skills, and willingness to contribute to daily vessel operations.
Volunteer Duties Include:
Watchkeeping (day and night).
Sail handling and deck work.
Galley chores, cleaning, and general housekeeping.
Routine vessel maintenance. Including engine room monitoring.
Assisting with mast inspections and work aloft.
Hull inspection and bottom cleaning when conditions permit.
This is not a passenger berth. Everyone aboard contributes to the safe operation and upkeep of the vessel. Looking for crew who are self-reliant, safety-conscious, and enjoy being part of a cooperative team. Approx departure June 15-30
