Looking for an experienced sailor interested in helping a new Hinckley owner gain confidence aboard his boat.
My father recently purchased a 1987 Hinckley Sou’Wester 42 and has the boat in Charlevoix, Michigan. He has some sailing experience from years ago but is looking for an experienced sailor to join him for day sails, help him learn the boat’s systems, and provide guidance as he gets comfortable operating her.
We’re looking for someone who is patient, knowledgeable, and enjoys mentoring. The goal is not for someone to captain the boat permanently, but rather to help him build skills and confidence so he can eventually operate independently.
