From mid august.
The distance is around 1100 nautical miles to Ireland I will then be sailing onto north wales the whole trip should take 2 to 3 weeks.
The boat is a well maintained HR Monson. A comfortable, easy to sail 31ft blue water cruising boat, that I have owned and sailed for the past 10 years. The boat has life lines, life jackets, life raft, eperb, everything you would expect.
I'm an easy going guy, who has sailed over 10,000 nautical miles. Im a marine engineer.
I am looking for one or two crew members with offshore experience. This passage can be quite challenging. The space is small, but you will have your own bunk and space for your belongings.
There is an autopilot which will steer the boat most of the time. You may need to steer if required. You will be expected to keep watch, help with reefing and un reefing sails. We will take it in turns to cook and wash up.
This is not a paid position but I will cover all the boat costs.
