Join our sailing adventure from Curaçao to Panama
Hello!
We are Wouter, Petra and our 8-year-old daughter Roos from the Netherlands.
In 2025 we started our sailing adventure aboard our Outremer 52 catamaran, IDEFIX. Since then, we have sailed more than 7,000 nautical miles, including an Atlantic crossing with the ARC and extensive cruising throughout the Caribbean.
We are now considering welcoming one or two guests/crew members for the passage from Curaçao to Panama.
Your accommodation
We have one comfortable private cabin available for:
One person, or
Two people travelling together
The cabin has its own private shower and bathroom facilities.
Contribution
We ask a contribution of approximately €50 to €175 per person per night, depending on the exact route, duration and arrangements.
This contribution is for the accommodation and sailing experience aboard IDEFIX. Travel expenses to Curaçao and from Panama are not included.
The trip
The first trip will be from Curaçao towards Panama, combining offshore sailing with possible stops along the way, depending on weather, timing and route planning.
Guests are welcome to participate in sailing, watches and daily life on board. Sailing experience is appreciated, but a positive attitude, flexibility and respect for family life on board are just as important.
About us
We are a relaxed Dutch family who enjoys sailing, exploring new places and sharing our adventure with nice and easy-going people.
Our boat is our home, so we are looking for people who are comfortable in a family environment and understand that this is not a traditional charter yacht.
Future possibilities
After Panama, we plan to continue with the World ARC 2027.
When the experience is enjoyable for everyone and we are a good match, there may be opportunities to join us again on another leg or during part of the World ARC.
