Portsmouth, V! -> Essex, CT
I'm looking for experienced crew to help sail my Valiant 42 from Portsmouth, VA to Essex, CT. Hoping to depart between 7/29 and 7/31. I expect the passage to take 3-4 days, depending on the weather. This will be an offshore passage (unless we need to duck in to avoid really foul weather) until we round Montauk to head into Long Island Sound, so it will be great sailing and a good opportunity to build ocean miles if that's what you're interested in. My boat is well-maintained and fully equipped for an offshore passage, and I have done countless ocean miles, including a transatlantic.
There will be 3 of us aboard, and we'll stand 3-hour solo watches around the clock. Crew pay for travel expenses to and from my vessel; I pay all expenses aboard. Strictly no smoking. Thank you for your interest!
