Ijsselmeer to Gibraltar
Vesta will depart Ijsselmeer/Markermeer through the Nordzee Kanal and make its way down south to Gibraltar week 34/35. Objective is to make safe passage south and not forcing to arrive or pass all interesting places. Intended stops in Brittany, the Channel Islands, northern Spain. Ports of call during the voyage are determined by the weather. It’s intended to arrive Gibraltar before the end of September. Weather and passage planning is done with predict wind where we’ll have daily updates.
Crew roles: The candidates should have offshore sailing experience, be able to stand night watches alone, have boat handling experience, be good team players, can cook, like it clean and tidy and participate on all chores during passage. Crew should have ample of time so we don’t need to force getting to a certain port. Ports however to join or leave the boat can be handled flexible.
