Watch: Sailing with the Teorema from Mallorca to Palermo and back..

Valencia - Sardegna and back

From September 26 to October 24, 2026, we will be sailing on four weekly trips from Valencia via Mahon (Menorca) to Sardinia, and then back to Valencia via Menorca. These trips are designed for mileage trips and skipper training. Beginners who possess a certain level of sea resilience and wish to gain initial sailing experience and knowledge are also welcome. We sail with two experienced skippers who are happy to share their knowledge and expertise. Naturally, we can handle the boat on our own without any issues. However, active participation from fellow sailors is highly encouraged and will turn our sailing trip into a wonderful crew experience.
Weather permitting, the itinerary is planned as follows:
Arrival on Friday, September 25, or Saturday, September 26, with some time to enjoy Valencia. Sunday morning to Monday: crossing to Palma de Mallorca. Tuesday: sailing to the small nature reserve island of Cabrera or to one of the beautiful bays on the southeastern coast of Mallorca. Wednesday into Thursday: crossing to Menorca. Crew change takes place on Saturday, October 3, in Mahon. From Sunday to Tuesday, we plan a two-day crossing to the southwestern coast of Sardinia. There, we can anchor at one of the beautiful spots around the islands of San Pietro and Sant'Antioco or along the Sardinian coast. Finally, we will sail overnight to Alghero, where the crew change will take place on Saturday, October 10. The return trips follow a similar pattern. The crew change is on October 17 in Mahon. The fourth trip ends on the 24th in Valencia. Anyone wishing to explore Valencia can stay on board until the 26th. Of course, the trips can also be combined into 2 to 4-week journeys.
As always with sailing, plans may change due to the weather. For instance, staying longer in one place to wait for better weather conditions and then sailing through the night for an extra evening. At all stops along our route, there are beautiful and spectacular places to visit. These naturally include the cities of Valencia, Palma, Mahon, and Alghero, as well as the breathtaking Neptune's Grotto (Grotta di Nettuno) near Alghero.
A contribution to our cost is expected for these trips.
Including the two skippers, there will be a maximum of 7 people on board.

Hans is a very easy going skipper. Calm, skilled and with agreat overview. He takes care of everyone and everything and secretly cleans the dishes ;) After more than a month on the boat on the atlantic (canaries, azores, portugal) with Hans we got to know each other very well and I'm greatful for every day I can spend with him on his boat. Thank you for everything, Hans

Great week sailing in Winter sunshine. Hans is an excellent vastly experienced captain and Teamora is a lovely well maintained yacht that is well maintained and well equipped for comfortable long haul passages. Thank you for the opportunity to sail with you Hans. Graham

I feel I am the luckiest person to have spent some days on the sailboat Teorema with her Captain, Hans. He is an amazing, patient, very generous humble and kind person, willing to teach, explain, and let do and sail as much as possible!. Teorema is clean, reliable and very comfortable, we did a trip from Almería (Spain) to Vilamoura (Portugal) including some night navigation and everything went just perfect. The rest of the crew Hans invited to the trip Manuel, Stephan, Roland they were fantastic sailing mates, some of them with lots of knowdlege on sailing. I would be happy if I can travel with these 4 amazing guys again. As I already told you, Hans, I am very grateful for the opportunity! Looking forward to sail with you again in some months! :)

Excellent first sailing experience

5

I have had the pleasure of spending three weeks of very enjoyable sailing on Teorema with Hans, his skipper friend Robert and Lucia. It was an 1,000 miles journey from the British Virgin Islands to Cien Fuegos, Cuba sailing blue waters for several days at times. Hans and Robert are very knowledgeable sailers with great human qualities and intelligence. The boat is comfortable, well equipped and maintained. Thank you Hans, Robert and Lucia.

Thank you Hans for this amazing experience

The one month sailing trip with Hans was my very first experience with Crewbay, at first I felt nervous to go sailing with a person that I don't know, but Hans gave my very fast a relaxing feeling with him. Hans and the changing crew did not only feel like a host for the time being, but I felt like home and I had many meaningful conversations with him - it became my oceanic family. I can't put my experience on board of this ship into words, it is one of my dearest memories and for that I really want to thank Hans.

Magnificent Times

I spent several weeks on board TEOREMA sailing between various Canary Islands and had an absolutely wonderful time. Hans is not just a great skipper but also really good company. I felt very welcome and of course safe (the boat is very well equipped and maintained) and I am super grateful for this exceptional experience. Thank you, Hans x

Wonderful experience

5

This was my first time sailing in the ocean. The experience itself was great, but what I would not expected was to find I lovely person like Hans and his friends. We spent amazing time together, he his a very deep and spiritual person, very open minded and honest. It was not just a trip boat or a sailing experience but also a way to learn about boats and to chat like if I was between old friends. Thank you very much
