Rimini to Cannes – Offshore Sailing Passage 12-20 september
We’ll be moving a 43-foot sailing yacht from Rimini to Cannes and are looking for a few people who would like to join the crew and share a proper long-distance sailing experience.
Departure: 12 september.
The Route
From Rimini, we’ll head south following the Italian coast, with any technical or rest stops decided according to the weather and the needs of the boat. After passing through the Strait of Messina, we’ll cross the Tyrrhenian Sea, sail through the Strait of Bonifacio between Sardinia and Corsica, and continue north towards Cannes.
Life at Sea
This is a real offshore passage, with sailing both day and night. Everyone on board will take an active role, sharing watch rotations, helming and the normal management of the boat.
The Vibe
Good sailing, night watches, open sea and the satisfaction of covering a serious stretch of the Mediterranean together. There should also be time, with a little luck, a few dolphins along the way.
The boat is ready to go. Only a small crew contribution is required to share the cost of food, diesel and ports.
