Crew Always Welcome
Ahoy mates! I would love to have you join me for some spontaneous adventures on the boat with me. It sure helps to split up the night watches with one or two other people so we don't become exhausted when we are supposed to be having fun. I keep a tight ship. I don't allow the boat to continue if there is something wrong with it that is potentially unsafe. I love sailing, but I know when not to push too hard. I take a safe approach to adventure. We would share the night watches with a rotating watch schedule that works for everyone, and share cooking and cleaning duties etc. The main point is to have fun.
Depending on the leg of the journey I may offer to help with travel expenses to and from the boat. We will share expenses when it comes to food, but I will pay for the diesel, any repair parts needed, and port costs / mooring / marina costs.
I've owned this boat for 6 years, so I know it well, I sailed it from the San Juan Islands of Washington State down the west coast of North America and Central America. Crossed the Panama Canal into the Caribbean and then up to Rio Dulce, Guatemala.
I'm an easy going guy. I am a merchant mariner (engineer) on ships. A bit of a mechanical engineering geek. I love rock and roll, have an occasional smoke and a brew and I have a relentless desire to travel off the beaten path. Come join me if you are down!
