Crew Wanted – Florida - Panama - Ecuador - Peru

Looking for an experienced crew member to join me on a sailing passage from Florida to Panama aboard a Hunter 29.5.

I am specifically looking for someone who has previous sailing experience in the Caribbean and is familiar with Caribbean currents, weather patterns, route planning and offshore navigation.

Experience with night watches, passage planning and handling a sailboat offshore is highly preferred.

Planned route: Florida /Caribbean /Panama, second trip is Panama / Ecuador / Peru with the exact route and stops depending on weather and sea conditions.

Departure planned for November 2026.

The goal is to have someone onboard who can actively help with navigation, weather decisions, watches and safe passage planning.

All standing rigging is new and the boat is being prepared specifically for the trip from Florida to Panama. She has the necessary navigation, communication and safety equipment onboard, as well as the basic facilities needed for an offshore passage. This is not a luxury or heavily equipped bluewater yacht, but a simple, practical sailboat with the essential systems and safety equipment needed for the intended voyage. The priority onboard is reliability, safety and keeping things simple.
