Looking for a Deckhand, Racing crew, Competent Crew or Mile building position
I'm looking to get more longer cruising experience. I have lived in costal New England for the last 12 years and learned to sail as a kid on the Bristol channel in the UK. I started out in dinghies but have graduated up to crewing on bigger yachts. I mostly race these days while crewing on a friends boat on Casco Bay. We do everything from weekday beer can racing to overnight competitions like the Mohegan Island Race. I have plenty of experience everywhere on the boat being the slot in anywhere crew member. Everything from foredeck to helming and navigation/tactics. I also do plenty of work on the interior and can make a great meal from a random set of ingredients. I would like to help out with deliveries and some big races like Figawi or the Block Island Race.
