Looking for Captain or lead deckhand roles.
Hey there I’m Miles! I’m a 23 year old sailor. I’ve spent most of my life in and around the sea. I hold Day Skipper Commercial, STCW, GDMSS VHF license, ICC, ENG 1 all up to date.
I’m looking for a captain role or lead deckhand position, anywhere. I love to travel so I’m up for anything. (I hold EU and US passports)
To mention some of my previous experience: First Mate Atlantic crossing (FP Elba 45) 2500nm
Med crossing Atlantic coast of France-Croatia 2496nm
Charter captain and host on the South coast of Spain
Deckhand on a J class
First Mate and maintenance 24m charter yacht.
Greek island cruising on my family Dufour S/Y.
I like to think I’m pretty good all around on boats and can basically fit any role anyone throws at me. If someone else can do it why can’t I??
