Looking for a Novice Crew, Friendship, Voluntary work or Mile building position
Hello, my name is Skye - I live in Cornwall, UK but I can travel anywhere.
I'm interested in finding a position as a Novice Crew, Friendship, Voluntary work or Mile building. I have been a Watersports instructor for 7 years now, including a dinghy instructor for 5. I have lots of experience driving powerboats, and working with the sea. I hold my first aid certificate amongst other instructor qualifications.
My knowledge of sailing yachts is limited, however I have done many day sails on various sized yachts where I’ve found my dinghy sailing knowledge translates very well. I am keen to do some longer haul trips, and learn the ropes of crewing!
I am a happy and lively person, who is very chilled out and makes friends easily. I am a fast learner, who is very enthusiastic to jump into the sailing world! I am used to nomadic and small space living, and understand the importance of working as a team living in a small space. I will do everything I can to help out with chores/tasks that need doing.
