Junior Deckhand / Competent Crew Looking for Paid Position – Med or Caribbean
Hi! I’m currently looking to gain more experience on the water as crew, ideally on sailboats or small yachts. I’m particularly interested in paid positions as a junior deckhand, junior steward or general help on board.
I hold an RYA Day Skipper certificate (2013) and although I haven’t been sailing regularly since then, I’m now fully committed to re-entering the yachting world. I’m hands-on, hard-working, respectful and calm – with a friendly attitude and willingness to learn.
I’ve spent over 10 years living and working in the UK (Cambridge and London), including jobs in education (with adults and children with disabilities), hospitality (as a salad chef), gardening, and charity work. I’ve also run a small farm in Poland with poultry and other animals.
I’m happy to help with watchkeeping, deck work, cleaning, and cooking. I enjoy being in the sun, swimming, and living simply close to nature. I’m especially interested in routes in the Mediterranean or the Caribbean, and open to delivery trips or private journeys with good people.
