New to Sailing | Eager, reliable & ready to grow :)
Hi! I’m Ivan, originally from Ukraine but living in Poland since 2014. Sailing is something completely new to me — but it has quickly become a big passion. I recently joined a 7-day trip as part of the crew on a Beneteau Oceanis 40 in Greece, and that experience changed everything for me.
Right now I work in a corporate job, but sailing feels like something I want to build my future around. I'm starting my official sailing education in June 2025 — attending a PZŻ (Polish Sailing Association) skipper course. After that, I hope to keep progressing step by step — and maybe one day reach RYA Day Skipper level, if all goes well.
Although I’m new, I’m committed, calm, curious, and a good team player. I’m looking for beginner-level crewing opportunities — deliveries, training passages, or short trips where I can learn from more experienced sailors and gradually build confidence.
I speak English, Ukrainian, Polish, and Russian, and I’m more than happy to help wherever I can on board. I'm especially keen to connect with people who enjoy sharing knowledge and love the sea.
