Aspiring Seafare Seeking Crew Position - Hardworking and Dedicated
Hi there! I've just joined Crewbay and I'm keen to find a summer position as a Deckhand or Novice Crew, available until the end of August.
I'm currently advancing my skills in the Marine Navigation Program at Georgian College. This means I come fully prepared with a valid Marine Medical and Passport, along with my Marine Basic First Aid Certificate, MEDS: STCW Basic Safety, Survival Craft training, VPWSR, and ROC-MC.
Beyond my current marine studies, I bring a unique blend of highly relevant experience. I hold an Environmental Geography degree from Nipissing University, and certificates in Geomatics and Environmental Management, plus an Aquaculture certificate from Fleming College. My four years living and working at sea as a lead land fish farmer in Nootka Sound have provided me with extensive on-water experience and excellent knot-tying skills. I'm looking for a career change and am genuinely eager to return to a life at sea. As a bonus, I have a DJI FPV drone that I'm happy to put to use if it could benefit your operations!
