Looking for a Delivery Crew, Competent Crew, Mile building or Sailing instructor, Deckhand position
Afternoon, I’m a young passionate sailor trying to make my way into the professional sailing world, meeting as many people and working as hard as I can, I’m happy to learn any skills and advice you have to offer and fill any role I can. I have been sailing for over 6 years but only recently professionally. I hold the RYA Day skipper and Coastal skipper license, have worked for 4 months as an assistant sailing instructor in Sardinia, running both dinghy and keel boat courses. I have the RYA basic sea survival as well as the RYA/ISAF Offshore personal survival required for racing. I’m working towards my Yachtmaster. I have a lot of experience with handyman work, including carpentry, plumbing, basic electrical engineering, as well as spending some months learning some basic boat maintenance such as polishing, sanding and scraping, painting, and I’m very interested in learning more skills such as engine repair, as well as many years in the catering and service industry, working as a barman, waiter, chef and barista at different times.
