Mathieu & Julia, a French couple, looking for a transatlantic crossing between Dec 25 and Jan 26
Hello sailors,
We’re Julia and Mathieu, a French couple in our 30s from Annecy, looking to join a boat for a transatlantic crossing between mid-December 2025 and February 2026.
Our plan is to spend a few months in Central America, and sailing there would be the dream start to this adventure. We discovered sailing at Les Glénans and loved it from day one, not only for the thrill, but also because it truly reflects our vision of travel and life: low impact, closer to nature, and with a sense of purpose.
On land, we’re always chasing outdoor adventures. At sea, we’re excited by the idea of being “stuck” on a boat for weeks, sounds like the perfect adventure to us!
We’re still rather beginners (Les Glénans level 2), but we’re reliable, motivated, and happy to take part in anything on board, from standing watch to scrubbing the deck. We’re fit, non-smokers, easygoing… and happen to be pretty good cooks (which can be a lifesaver mid-Atlantic!).
