Dolphin and tubing watersports Captain looking to add some hours to his license and pick up some work over the winter. Interested in seasonal but not completely closed off from a permanent opportunity as well. Below is my resume that will give you an overview of my experience. I love to free dive, Spearfish and Surf.
CERTIFICATIONS & SKILLS- USCG OUPV “6-Pack” License (Active)- CPR/First Aid Certified- Parasail Mate Trained:- Harnessing, canopy inflation, winch assist, flight monitoring- Launch/retrieval support, gear safety checks, emergency readiness- Jet Ski Maintenance & Supervision:- Basic servicing, fueling, and troubleshooting- Safety briefings, rider monitoring, and enforcement of rental policies- Strong Boat Handling: Skiffs, RHIBs, and tow sports vessels- Excellent Communication & Teamwork- Familiar with USCG Safety Protocols and Vessel Inspections

April 2024 – Present- Operate 6-passenger skiff for guided dolphin tours and tubing experiences- Provide engaging wildlife narration and ensure safe, enjoyable outings- Conduct pre/post-trip vessel inspections and routine maintenance- Supervise jet ski rentals: brief customers, monitor safety zones, and maintain units- Perform light jet ski maintenance including oil checks, flushing, and troubleshooting minor issues- Maintained a spotless safety record with 600+ logged hours on the water
Parasail Mate (Trained & Fill-In)
Causeway Watersports – Nags Head, NC
Summer 2025 – Present (Seasonal)- Serve as deck crew for parasailing operations, assisting with equipment setup and safety procedures- Support harnessing, rider briefings, canopy deployment, and winch monitoring- Step in as a fill-in mate during staff shortages; ensure smooth operations under pressure- Assisted in over 250 successful parasail flights with zero safety incidents
