Experienced Sailor looking for Competent Crew / Delivery Position
Hello, I retired in 2023 and have taken up sailing as a new adventure and hobby. I have ASA 101, 103 and 104 certifications and own my own 34' monohull sailboat, used for coastal cruising along the Eastern US. I've crewed on a a 980 nm delivery of a Bali 5.4 catamaran from the Dominican Republic to Florida, a 900 nm Leopard 44 delivery from Florida to Texas and a 1170 nm delivery of a Lagoon 44 from Florida to St. Thomas USVI as well as a 1016 nm delivery of a 42' Jeanneau Sun Odyssey from South Carolina to NY and a 300 nm transit of my C&C 34 from Savannah , GA to Little River, SC. I'm handy with a wrench for doing basic maintenance and also have a working knowledge of electrical systems and electronics.
Although a completion bonus is nice, no per diem is required. I do ask that travel to and from the boat be covered. Feed me and I am yours to handles lines, trim sails, helm / stand watch, help keep things running smoothly and cook as needed. I travel light, am organized and easy going.
