**About Me – Joko**
Hello! My name is Joko. I was born in Romania and spent many years living in Turin, Italy. The sea has always been part of my life, and I’ve had the chance to sail in some of the most beautiful places in the Mediterranean — Greece (Volos, the Cyclades) and Croatia (Hvar, Šibenik, Zadar). I hold a category B skipper license and feel completely at home on sailing boats.
I speak several languages (Indonesian als0) and enjoy communicating and connecting with people from all backgrounds. I’m very hands-on and practical — I can repair almost anything on board, from mechanical issues to small electrical or structural problems. I also love to cook, especially Mediterranean-style meals using fresh ingredients. I travel light, with no unnecessary baggage, and I’m always ready to adapt to life at sea.
I’ve traveled a lot and I’m comfortable living a simple, flexible lifestyle. I currently own a tourism company and a few cafés, which gives me financial independence and the freedom to choose interesting sailing projects. I can fully support myself and, when the experience is worth it, I’m happy to contribute to the shared expenses on board.
Besides sailing, I’m passionate about adventure and outdoor sports. I can drive cars, motorcycles, boats, . I also ride horses, ski, and practice kitesurfing whenever I can.
I’m looking to join a sailing trip or crew where good vibes, teamwork, and respect come first. I enjoy being around positive, curious, and open-minded people who love the sea and the freedom it brings.
If you’re searching for a reliable, skilled, and easygoing crew member who can help with sailing, maintenance, cooking, or just bring good energy on board — I’m your guy.
