Looking for a Sailing Job/Adventure
Hi, we’re Alex and Shirlyn, an Australian couple keen to join a crew or delivery in 2026.
I’m a mechanic and engineer, and Shirlyn is a doctor — we’re both practical, calm under pressure, and love a good adventure on the water.
We’ve done some coastal sailing and smaller boating, and we’re now looking to gain more offshore experience through shared-expense or volunteer-based trips around Australasia and the South Pacific. We’re hands-on, easygoing, and enjoy working as part of a team.
On board, I’m happy to handle maintenance, watchkeeping, or deck work, while Shirlyn’s medical background and steady nature bring extra reassurance at sea. We’re both strong swimmers and enjoy diving, snorkelling, and exploring new places.
We mainly speak English, but Shirlyn also speaks Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia, and we both know a little Spanish.
Available in 2026, flexible with timing and destination.
