Looking for a Captain position
Hi there, thanks for taking your time to read this, I’m Captain Bryan from South Africa. My journey in yachting began over four years ago and has taken me across the wild African oceans and the calm Caribbean seas on a Lagoon 77 and a Dufour 48 catamaran and various other vessels. Every season has taught me something new — about leadership, teamwork, and the dedication it takes to run a smooth and successful operation at sea.
Calm, cool, and collected by nature, I lead with a quiet demeanour, a good attitude and a hard work ethic. I am as happy with the sails up as I am in the engine room. The ocean has always been my passion — I thrive on adventure, hands-on challenges, and creating a positive, grounded environment on board.
Alongside my maritime experience, I’m also a dive instructor, surf instructor, yoga instructor, breath work facilitator, and masseuse. I’m passionate about wellness and enjoy bringing that same energy to my crew and guests — blending professionalism with a genuine love for life at, in and on the sea. I am drama free, alcohol free, looking for a vessel to call home, crew and owners to call family and to live a life I can be truly passionate and grateful for.
