Experienced crew member for transatlantic 5000 NM
To quickly introduce myself, my name is Raphaël, I am just 30 years old and I come from Vannes in Brittany.
I have found a crew to take me to the Canary Islands, but unfortunately, due to lack of space, I cannot make the transatlantic crossing with them (some family members are boarding the boat).I expect to arrive in the Canary Islands around the end of November.
I also own a sailing boat, a 1973 Dufour 35, which I bought in Menton in 2021 and is now based in Arzal. I sail it a lot, mainly solo, so I have experience in sailing and maintenance/DIY/repairs/mechanics, etc.
I sail solo at night, so I know how to keep watch and manage the boat independently.
I also know what it means to own a boat and the care that needs to be taken of it.
I am a simple person, comfortable on a boat, a bon vivant, very curious about everything related to sailing (and more) and, above all, very easy-going and ready to do whatever needs to be done ?
